The rapid growth of the project due to the support from Devon Birds and the Devon Environment Foundation, including the recent Crowdfunder, has limited my time to be able to undertake the monitoring tasks at each location. Every community which has had an installation of swift nestboxes, has nominated someone to be the eyes and ears of the project. The wonderful Swift Champions which number 58, activate the callers and keep an eye out for swifts during the season, recording activity at the churches. I’ve already been contacted by a few Champions this season to let me know that the callers are activated and swifts have been circling the towers to investigate! Thankyou Swift Champions!
