Swift numbers have decreased by up to 60% over the past 20 years with 40% of that loss occurring in the last 10 years. The main reasons are our construction methods, and land management. Fortunately, for a little effort we can make a difference to help these amazing birds!
A special thank you to Devon Birds who have supported the project, in particular, sponsorship of the Church installations.
Thank you to Orbis Ecology for sponsorship of the website.
We are a team of individuals who set up together to find solutions to increase common swift populations. A large percentage of our time is spent installing nestboxes in church bell towers, however, we also install for local businesses and domestically and offer advice on installations and other things swift related.
